After completing his basic studies, he pursued advanced specialized studies (equivalent to a master’s degree at that time) in Special Technologies in Construction. In 2022, he earned his doctorate in construction and installations with a thesis focused on the fire safety of buildings – Research on the Interaction of Active Fire Protection Systems in Buildings, a study that took 4 years to complete and involved the publication of articles in internationally recognized scientific journals.

Lulea Marius Dorin is one of the most qualified construction specialists in Romania and the author of several books in the field of construction engineering (Fire Safety Scenario, Design of Buildings. Foundations, Design of Buildings. Technical Design Guide, Energy Performance Certificate for Buildings, Design of Buildings. Fire Safety Installations). He is also authorized/certified as an energy auditor of grade I, a project verifier for several fundamental requirements (fire safety, hygiene, health and environmental protection, energy efficiency and thermal insulation, safety and accessibility in operation, noise protection), a technical expert for several fundamental requirements (fire safety, hygiene, health and environmental protection, energy efficiency and thermal insulation, safety and accessibility in operation, noise protection), and a site supervisor for construction, edification, and installations.

His engineering experience is complex, as seen above, and involves approximately 10,000 projects in which he has been involved. Lulea Marius Dorin has conducted courses for over 1,000 architects and engineers who wanted to prepare for site supervisor exams, technical managers for execution, project verifiers, or technical experts. The vast majority of them have succeeded in doing so.
